Fast work, good responsiveness – overcharged?
My girlfriend had her car serviced here 2 or so months ago and was happy with the experience. When I had a charge system issue with my vehicle I went to Elite Auto. I had the alternator … More (remanufactured) and serpentine belt replaced and it cost me almost $700. I didn’t take issue with the cost of labor/parts but was a little frustrated with the diagnostics charge. I had just replaced the battery the day before and knew I had a charge system issue (i.e., alternator, wiring). I informed Elite Auto it was a charge system issue when I dropped my vehicle off, so it surprised me when I found I was going to be charged $150 for diagnostics. Maybe I’m overreacting or maybe it’s a misunderstanding of what was actually performed – not sure. I’m thankful they were able to repair my vehicle quickly and were able to accommodate a pick-up time outside their typical work hours. Less
